Nala Renewables spins out its investment in Swift Current Energy to shareholders

Nala Renewables, a global power and renewable energy investment and development platform has completed the spin out of its investment in Swift Current Energy to Nala Renewables’ ultimate shareholders, IFM Net Zero Infrastructure Fund and Trafigura. Trafigura’s pro-rata share of Swift Current Energy was subsequently sold to Buckeye Partners, L.P., the majority owner of Swift Current Energy.

 

Nala Renewables will continue to focus on investing in projects that complement its existing portfolios to create scale and a deeper country presence. By 2025, Nala Renewables’ aim is to build a global portfolio of renewable energy projects with a cumulative generative capacity of four gigawatts to be operating, in construction, or in late-stage development. The company already owns and is developing assets in Belgium, Chile, France, the Netherlands, Poland and the US.
